Check in

Meaning: Register at a hotel or airport.

Example: We checked in at around 2 p.m.










Check out

Meaning: Leave a hotel and pay the bill.

Example: We need to check out by 11 a.m.



✈️ Take off

Meaning: When a plane leaves the ground.

Example: The flight took off 30 minutes late.










🛬 Touch down

Meaning: When a plane lands.

Example: The plane touched down at Heathrow just before noon.








🚗 Pick up

Meaning: Collect someone or something.

Example: Can you pick me up from the station?








🚕 Drop off
