OET Nursing: What You Need to Know in 2025
Do you want to work as a nurse in an English-speaking country? If yes, the OET (Occupational English Test) for Nursing can help you. This test checks if your English is good enough to work safely and professionally as a nurse. It is accepted in many countries, and it focuses on real healthcare situations, not just general English. To get answers to all your questions about OET Nursing, watch the video above or read through the text below.
Who is OET Nursing for?
OET is for qualified nurses whose first language is not English. If you want to work in a hospital or clinic where English is the main language, this test is for you.
Where is OET Nursing accepted?

✅ Tip: Each country has its own rules. Always check with the nursing regulator in your country of choice. We can help you with this!
What scores do I need?
The score you need depends on the country. But usually, it’s:
Reading, Listening, Speaking: B (like IELTS 6.5–7 or B2 level)
